Pray

It is so simple a thing

As easy to do as sing

Yet most of us forget

Our time with God isn’t spent

We keep ourselves from our Lord

Something we cannot afford

It only takes a little time

Doesn’t even cost us a dime

It is time well spent

A good way to prevent

The many mishaps of each day

With a little prayer we allay

The Father up above

Wants so much to give His love

But if we don’t with Him spend

A little time, we will suffer in the end

And so each morning as you rise

A little prayer you should comprise
